To what extent do genes influence our appearance and personality? Are behavioral patterns actually hereditary? And what is the Human Genome Project and mutations all about? The special exhibition "Genes - Diversity of Life" in the LWL Natural History Museum in Münster explores all of these questions. Using numerous tactile models and hands-on stations, visitors can take a closer look at the complex world of genes.
The audio tour consists of a dialogue between the two characters "Anne" and "Clara". This pair of identical twins accompanies their listeners through the exhibition rooms in an entertaining way. We at soundgarden made sure that the speakers' voices were as similar to each other as possible, but were still audibly distinguishable and corresponded to the two's different characters.
The audio tours can be heard in German, English and Dutch until the end of the exhibition in June 2026. For blind and visually impaired people, there is also a German version including an audio description, in which the twins' stories are followed by descriptions and information on individual objects and interactive stations.
We wish you an enjoyable tour!
