Yayoi Kusama is one of the most influential artists worldwide, and as a pop icon, she is also extremely well known outside of art circles. On March 14, 2026, the Museum Ludwig will launch a major retrospective of her entire oeuvre. soundgarden is currently writing the audio guide in close collaboration with the museum and Yayoi Kusama's studio. It will be available in German, English, and French.

The exhibition will feature a completely new “Infinity Mirror Room” installation, as well as a variety of the artist's iconic works—impressive paintings, videos of her rebellious performances from the 1960s, and a number of Kusama's moving installations. We can't wait for the exhibition!
